About the project.
Cartola Express is a daily fantasy game inspired by the original game known as Cartola. Within this game, users have the opportunity to craft their personalized soccer teams by choosing preferred soccer players. Subsequently, they can place bets on the outcomes of each round for enhanced results.
Players have the option to deposit funds into the game's wallet, which can then be employed as betting credits. In the event of a victory, users accrue bonuses that can be utilized to acquire improved players and participate in more high-stakes rounds.
Challenge.
In order to facilitate the efficient management of users' deposits, earnings, bonuses, and bets, the Cartola Express product team initiated a request for the Sales Journey team to construct a wallet system. This wallet was influenced by the payment platform within Conta Globo (Globo account).
Consequently, we devised a wallet system that drew inspiration from several features present in the Globo account. However, we tailored these features with appropriate adjustments and integrated the distinct visual identity of Cartola Express.

I worked as a Senior Product Designer, working with the Cartola Express Product Designers, a Product Manager and Developers. I worked producing sketches, prototypes and the final screens.

Information Architecture.
Despite having the Globo account as a point of reference for components and styles, the Cartola Express product possessed unique attributes. Within the wallet, several distinct features were required: balance tracking, deposit functionality, withdrawal capability, rewards management, and a financial statement overview. Consequently, the final components were a fusion of the existing elements from the Globo account and select components sourced from our checkout platform.
